This Raspberry Jello Salad Recipe makes a very refreshing Raspberry Salad OR Raspberry Dessert using frozen raspberries and marshmallows!

Since this recipe is made with frozen raspberries, it can conveniently be made at any time of the year.

I made this fruit and Jello recipe for a dessert at an Outdoor Wedding Reception Dinner, and I found it very easy to make and extremely tasty!

It is also very colourful and helps to "dress up" any food buffet table!

Ingredients

1 1/2 box (3 oz. size) of raspberry gelatin
1 box (3 oz. size) of orange gelatin
2 1/2 cups of boiling water
20 ounces of frozen raspberries
1 jar (10 ounces) of purchased applesauce or homemade applesauce
1 1/2 cup of miniature marshmallows
1 cup whipping cream, whipped
fresh raspberries for garnishing (optional)

Directions

Dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water.

Add the frozen raspberries, and stir until thawed.

Stir in the applesauce.

Refrigerate above till partially set.

Fold in marshmallows and whipped cream.

Pour into a 9" x 13" x 2" glass dish.

Chill until firm.

Garnish with fresh strawberries, if desired, just prior to serving.

Serves 12 - 15.
