If you are looking for an easy, fresh berry pie, for a last minute dessert recipe, that looks amazing, and tastes fabulous, you have one here.
To make things even easier, I used a purchased pastry pie shell.
I used fresh raspberries and strawberries for this pie, however you can use all raspberries instead, or substitute with fresh blueberries and/or raspberries.
Ingredients
1 pre-baked, 8" or 9" pastry pie shell
3/4 cup fresh raspberries
3/4 cup fresh, cut into small pieces, strawberries
1 pkg. (102 gram size) lemon instant pudding mix
prepared whipping cream or dessert topping (example: "Cool Whip")
Directions
Place the raspberries and the strawberries (pieces) in the bottom of the pie shell.
Prepare the lemon instant pudding as per the package instructions, but with 1/2 cup less milk than directed on the package directions.
Immediately pour the pudding over the berries in the pie shell.
Refrigerate until ready to serve, and refrigerate any leftover pie.
Serve pie with whipping cream or whipped dessert topping on top.
Enjoy this yummy pudding pie with fruit!
